Our goal is to provide students with the necessary tools to set them up for success. We realize that classes may teach you information, but it is important to gain some "hands-on" experience. The Penn State Justice Association brings in Speakers from different career backgrounds, Penn State Alumni that are currently in the workforce, Career advisors providing tips to better market yourself, and different workshops to work on Resumes, cover letters, class scheduling, etc. in order to better your chances for success.

Our Goal

Once a semester, a member of our Career Enrichment Network here at Penn State comes in to conducts a Resume Workshop. This workshop highlights all of the key components of a resume that Employers search for. Remember, the average employer will only view a resume for about 6 seconds!

Resume Workshops

Ever wanted to take a trip to a prison, police training academy, or even the Eastern State Penitentiary? Well our club has visited all three! We enjoy spending club dues and UPAC funding towards fun trips for CRIM students to enjoy

Club Trips
Class Scheduling

Once a semester, we hold a laid back meeting that allows members of the club to engage in discussion about which classes to take.

The club brings in many different employees from Criminal Justice/Criminology backgrounds. Some examples are the FBI, U.S. Marshalls Service, NCIS, Law Students, the Pennsylvania State Police, and many others!
